Viva to vainglory!

On Friday, the presidency sent out a statement clarifying that President Jacob Zuma had concluded “a very successful Youth Day commemoration in Ventersdorp” in North West.

It was the second email after an earlier one containing his speech.

This prompted Siyahleba to wonder why she should be told that the event was successful. Of course, the reason was that the event had not been successful. Zuma was booed and subjected to chants of “Zuma must go” at the start of his speech, until the heavies got rid of protesters.

The presidency doth protest too much, methinks.
