‘Bunnies’ threaten to quit over OJ job offer

CityPress - - News -

It seems controversy loves OJ Simpson. Or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, the news of Simpson’s first post-prison job offer has set tongues wagging and ruffled the feathers of those he might have to work with should he accept, TMZ reported. According to the celebrity gossip website, the disgraced football legend was offered a job at a Nevada brothel. The site talked to Dennis Hof, owner of the Bunny Ranch in Carson City, Nevada, and he confirmed that he’s got a position already for OJ when he’s released from prison, which could be as early as October 1. Hof said Simpson would work as a greeter at the establishment, and be able to live on the premises of the Ranch as long as he’s employed.

“One of the conditions of a prisoner being granted parole is always having an established place to live and a job to go to, and I can offer OJ both of those in a unique situation,” he said.

There is one problem though; his prospective coworkers are not happy. Professional sex worker Brooklyn Moore said she and other women working at the Ranch would go on strike if he is offered a job there.

“The last thing we need is another link to the Kardashian clan coming around to ruin our business, and jeopardise our safety,” she said, apparently referring to Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, who overdosed at another Hof establishment, the Love Ranch brothel in Pahrump. Simpson was represented by Robert Kardashian in the 1995 murder trial.

He was granted parole on Thursday for a 2008 Las Vegas armed robbery conviction and is expected to be released on October 1. –
