#Wanya to kaka Police Minister Fikile Mbalula clearly has no chill when he deals with those he interacts with on socialmedia platforms. Since taking over the portfolio in April, Mbaks has been on Operation Wanya Tsotsi aimed at rooting out criminals within communities. Kagiso Makaka wrote to Mbaks: “Can you please rethink the name #wanya ... not good language for our kids (sic).”

In his response, Mbaks said: “Consult Home Affairs surname change first Me Mapoo (sic).” Makaka, in Nguni, means human faeces, which the minister suggested needed to be changed first. Really, minister.
