Will the EFF rule in 2019?

Only if the EFF gives enough T-shirts to the people. Because this is where the ANC hit the EFF with the storm. I know this because I have been a candidate. Most votes have been won through T-shirts.

Sipho Mpumalanga

Far from it. Currently, they don’t even govern one province. I don’t see them getting 51% of the vote in the foreseeable future.

Thapelo Matlou Mpumalanga

Yes, the ANC is in huge trouble and the situation is getting worse by the day with Zuma holding on to the top job.

No! The EFF and its leader will still be a minority opposition after 2019 and for a long time. Though my vote is a secret I can confirm that I voted for the EFF for local government in the previous elections after the ANC’s insistence on Thoko Didiza as mayor. Failure by the ANC to listen influenced my decision to vote for the EFF. Little did I know that Julius Malema would sell my vote to the DA. I am now wiser and know that the EFF and its leader are unstable and are in politics just to expose the ANC. No 2019 for the EFF.

I definitely think the EFF will rule. I’ve always been a DA supporter, but seeing Malema evolve into a great leader inspires me. We are looking for change and the EFF makes it happen. A big problem in the Western Cape is gangsterism. We need radical change in our communities.

Malema will never rule this country. Instead, he will force people to vote ANC as they hate him.

Thembani Tom Eastern Cape

There is one thing about Malema – he is a dreamer. He is not in control of a single municipality in the country but is dreaming of South Africa as his target. The problem with parties such as Cope and the UDM is that they are driven by anger and hatred of the ANC. I did not give my vote to any of the above because they are all liars. I’ve kept my X in my back pocket for the past three elections. All these parties exist for their own interests, not those of the poverty-stricken masses. Malema is telling lies, all he has done is help the DA rule metros. Come on Malema, be true to yourself and the people of South Africa. You know that you are far from ruling South Africa, let alone Ekurhuleni.

Letsoalo Makosha Limpopo

Yes, we are going to root out the corrupt Zuptas and put them aside in 2019.
