From frameless showers and walls and doors, to basins, floors and skylights, Glass Benders has it all, and is an expert in the production and installation of curved glass. It works closely with architects and shopfitters, and has taken on a number of marine projects. This company has a growing corporate and residential client base, and also sells its products worldwide. Des Raman at Cutting Edge Steelwork worked at mechanical and structural engineering companies before he started producing spiral and other staircases, balustrades, light architectural steelwork, wrought-iron and modern steel and wood furniture. Des can, in his words, ‘manufacture pretty much anything out of steel.’ It supplies a broad range of top-quality household fittings to private and trade customers. Products include door and window hardware, fittings for shutters, cabinets and bathrooms, sanitaryware by Lefroy Brooks, heated towel rails, kitchen sinks and mixers.
