Guy Til­lim’s first ex­hi­bi­tion af­ter win­ning the Henri Cartier­bres­son Award. On un­til 25 Novem­ber at the Steven­son Gallery, the pow­er­ful images, de­pict­ing African city streets, de­liver stark so­cial com­men­tary on cur­rent af­fairs. ‘Th­ese streets, named and re­named, func­tion as silent wit­nesses to the ebb and flow of po­lit­i­cal, eco­nomic and so­cial shifts of power on the con­ti­nent,’ he says.
