Condé Nast House & Garden - - OBSESSIONS -

The look ‘High-impact jewellery. I am interested in creating pieces that reference the past, but reinvented in a modern way. I gravitate towards materials that have a feeling of history, such as old mine-cut diamonds and ancient roman and Greek beaten gold.’

‘Beaten gold. I love the feeling of it being worn and loved through time.’ Philosophy ‘The ancient Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, which sees beauty in imperfection. Evidence of the human hand in the making of my jewellery is prevalent in each of my designs for this reason. I want each piece to be a talisman for the wearer and communicate a personal message as well as create a connection to the universe.’
