Boyd Varty Tracker, Storyteller and Life Coach

Condé Nast House & Garden - - NATURAL HABITAT -

‘My garden is Londolozi Private game reserve. The name Londolozi means “protector of all living things” – a place founded on the principle that people of all cultures live in harmony with each other and the natural world.’ It makes sense then that here, on any given day, a leopard may call from the riverbed in front of the house and in the winter months it is not uncommon for an elephant to find its way into the garden to pluck aloe plants from the ground and eat them like giant carrots. ‘something happens when you live close to nature,’ says Boyd. ‘In the presence of vast landscapes, huge trees, birds and wild beasts there is a feeling of true kinship. This garden is my sacred space.’
