Boozy brunches: the best way to bond with besties
Preheat oven to 110°C. Using a smooth-bladed knife, cut doughnuts into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk; melt butter in a pan. Dip each doughnut piece into egg mixture and fry in the pan until golden brown. Remove from heat and place doughnut pieces in oven to keep warm. Break dark chocolate up into a saucepan and add cream. Melt over a very low heat, stirring to combine. Keep warm until needed. Peel and slice the fruit into bitesized bits. Thread fruit onto skewers, alternating with fried doughnut pieces. Arrange kebabs on a platter and dust with icing sugar. Pour melted chocolate into a bowl and place it in the centre of the platter for dipping. Serve immediately.
‘I love that this dish doesn’t need a knife and fork – it’s about tucking in with your fingers and sharing with the girls!’
