Click on the ques­tion mark icon at the top right side of the page and se­lect ‘Pri­vacy Check-Up’ to spec­ify who can see your posts, and info such as your e-mail ad­dress.

In­sta­gram

Any­one can see your pho­tos on In­sta un­less your ac­count is pri­vate. If your ac­count is pri­vate, only fol­low­ers ap­proved by you will be able to see your posts. Go into your pro“ ile, tap and turn on the ‘Pri­vate Ac­count’ set­ting.

Twit­ter

Click your pro“ile icon on your ac­count’s home page. Se­lect ‘Set­tings and pri­vacy’, se­lect ‘Pri­vacy and safety’ and check ‘Pro­tect your Tweets’, then click ‘ Save changes’.

LinkedIn

Click the pic­ture of your­self in the top right-hand corner of the nav­i­ga­tion bar for a drop- down menu. Click the ‘ Set­tings & Pri­vacy’ op­tion to ad­just your set­tings.

Snapchat

Tap in the top right-hand corner of your pro“ile screen. Scroll down to ‘ Who Can…’, choose an op­tion, then tap the back but­ton to save.

What­sApp

Your What­sApp pri­vacy set­tings al­low any user to view your ‘Last Seen’ sta­tus. To change this, go to ‘Set­tings’, click ‘Ac­count’, then ‘Pri­vacy’ and ‘Last Seen’. Here you can tweak your set­tings so only your con­tacts can see when you were last us­ing the app – or so no- one can.
