KONSTANZ: A bouncer was killed and four people were seriously injured after a gunman opened fire in a night club in Germany early yesterday. The gunman later died in a hospital after being shot by police.
There was nothing to suggest that the 34-year-old man of Iraqi Kurdish origin, who came to Germany in 1991 as a child, was motivated by terrorism when he fired shots from an M16 assault rifle inside Club Grey.
The shooter had gone to his residence after an argument in front of the club and retrieved the assault weapon. Briefs supplied by Reuters, ANADPA, ANA-AP, Daily Mail
