KON­STANZ: A bouncer was killed and four peo­ple were se­ri­ously in­jured af­ter a gun­man opened fire in a night club in Ger­many early yes­ter­day. The gun­man later died in a hos­pi­tal af­ter be­ing shot by po­lice.

There was noth­ing to sug­gest that the 34-year-old man of Iraqi Kur­dish ori­gin, who came to Ger­many in 1991 as a child, was mo­ti­vated by ter­ror­ism when he fired shots from an M16 as­sault ri­fle in­side Club Grey.
