Brandon makes Winter Season bow

The KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra launched its four-week 2018 Winter Season, to run at the Playhouse Opera Theatre on Thursdays until June 28 as part of the orchestra’s renowned World Symphony Series, which was started in Durban 22 years ago. Conductor Brandon Philips, pictured, makes his bow on the podium this week, on June 14. He is the artistic director and conductor of the Cape Town Youth Orchestra, and is resident conductor of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra.
