TWO BUSTED WITH BOOT FULL OF CASH
ALLEGED MONEY RUNNERS TO APPEAR IN NC COURT
MONEY RUNNERS: Police have refused to provide any comment on the apparent link between an alleged money runner, who was arrested in the Northern Cape in possession of a large pile of banknotes, and a family relation who is a high-ranking police officer based in Pretoria. Two men were arrested and charged with money laundering after they were found to be in possession of a large amount of cash, believed to be around R2 million, which was stored in the boot of the vehicle they were travelling in. The money, seen here in a picture supplied by the police, was sorted into denominations of R100 and R200 notes.
