COMMENT Vulnerable pay the price
EVERYTHING in life is relative. Take Cosatu’s membership of 1.2 million workers. It is a sizeable but small compared with the six million unemployed people.
It is smaller still when compared with the 16 million people who have jobs or if compared with South Africa’s total adult population.
Yesterday, Cosatu and the SACP tried to bring some of our cities to a standstill to demonstrate their call for President Jacob Zuma to go.
They did what worked for them over the decades: they held a march.
