SIR – A big problem that has emerged in South Africa today is the question of “race boundaries”.
Who is black and who is white in some kind of static analysis. We have as a “supposed-to-be” rainbow nation started to believe in something … many of us were suspicious of this in the first place. I, as a loyal PAC activist, sought a life without race – a way of being me.
Today we have lost the meaning of “being me” and of belonging to some dream, being included in some category where a person can live for the land … not get lost on race boundaries as if they were factions! Derek B Gripper
