OLD KIMBERLEY – complete with a digger’s pub, can-can girls and a mine dump – might be recreated for a weekend in the City Hall as part of the festivities during October’s Tourism Month. Kimtour chairman, Coenie de Swardt, said last week that the public had reacted ‘fantastically’ to the idea of holding a tourism month in the city and several suggestions had been received, including the recreation of an old Kimberley in the City Hall.
