A COLOURED labourer, whose age was given as 17, appeared before the Court in answer to a charge of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, it being alleged that he maliciously assaulted a married woman by injuring her with a sjambok about the head and body, and then striking her a blow on the head with a stone. As the complainant is still in Hospital, the case was remanded until the 20th inst.
