The Jaguar I-PACE is set to bring thrilling Jaguar elec­tric per­for­mance to lo­cal shores later this year. Avail­able from the sec­ond half of 2018, Jaguar’s first elec­tric ve­hi­cle will of­fer next-gen­er­a­tion tech­nol­ogy and fu­tur­is­tic de­sign to de­liver a com­pelling zero-emis­sions driv­ing ex­pe­ri­ence.

Based on the I-PACE con­cept ve­hi­cle, the pro­duc­tion ver­sion will de­liver 294 kW of power and 700 Nm of in­stant torque, with an es­ti­mated zero to 100 km/h sprint com­pleted in around four sec­onds. Driven by two elec­tric mo­tors, the I-PACE will fea­ture high-per­for­mance all-wheel drive to en­sure sta­bil­ity and sports car agility in all road con­di­tions.

Fit­ted with a 90 kWh bat­tery pack in the range-top­ping ver­sion, the I-PACE will of­fer a range of over 500 km as cal­cu­lated on the EU NEDC test cy­cle. How­ever, we pre­fer the EPA test cy­cle that ac­counts for
