The Fossil Q Crewmaster aims to offer most of the conveniences of smartwatches and fitness trackers, while remaining the classy and simple timepiece that most people are comfortable wearing. The Crewmaster is not your traditional smartwatch. It is perhaps better described as an analogue fashion watch with smart capabilities. That means; no digital display, no touchscreen and no Wi-Fi. It does, however, feature Bluetooth connectivity. There’s also activity tracking which includes sleep patterns, alarms and notifications that are delivered through vibrations of a spinning minute or sub-eye hand. It features a dedicated button for accessing smartphone functionality like ringing a paired smartphone, taking a photo, or controlling music. As it takes less power to drive these features, the Fossil Q can last up to 6 months on a regular coin cell battery.
