Fitbit has pulled up its sleeves and launched the latest in its series of smartwatches. It’s called the Fitbit Versa and features a metal body with more than a few hints of Pebble to it. Dubbed the lightest metal smartwatch in South Africa, the Versa not only introduces new Fitbit hardware but also the latest version of the company’s OS. The Versa itself is made of anodised aluminium, with a rounded-square shape topped with a colour touchscreen. It has 24/7 heart rate monitoring along with Bluetooth for phone-free music playback. Onboard storage can save up to 300 music tracks (depending on file size) with support for Pandora favourite stations and custom or curated playlists from Flow and Deezer. Fitbit Pay support is included, supporting a selection of MasterCard, Visa, and American Express cards.
