Be­fore the main meal, guests en­joyed cock­tails and cham­pagne. The main course was a crusted fil­let of beef with roasted vegetables and a side of green beans, while dessert was white and dark choco­late mousse served with ice cream and straw­ber­ries. The five-tier wedding cake was a show­stop­per dec­o­rated in white and gold and fin­ished with flow­ers which fit­ted in per­fectly with the vin­tage theme. It had flavours of vanilla bean sponge and Lindt choco­late rip­ple.
