DRUM Weddings - - HLUBI & KIRSTEN -

Guests en­joyed lamb stew, beef stew, chicken curry and roasted gam­mon made by Hlubi’s mom, Nothemba.

Side dishes in­cluded samp and beans, spinach, rice, pump­kin and sal­ads. A tra­di­tional goat dish called nyama was pre­pared by the Mboya el­ders and served with steamed bread. There was also lamb on a spit braai. Dessert in­cluded ap­ple crum­ble cups (opposite page, bot­tom right) with fresh cream and lit­tle milk tarts (opposite page, above right).
