WONDER WOMEN

DRUM - - Contents -

As a young man who is inspired by strong women, I was fascinated to see Thando Thabethe and DJ Zinhle on the cover of DRUM’s 31 August issue.

I’ve followed these two ladies’ careers with interest for a number of years and I’ve shared news of their rise to the top with young women in my circle.

In the article “I’m doing it my way”, DJ Zinhle draws a clear picture for us that it doesn’t matter how many times you stumble, how you stand up and continue with your journey is what’s important.

Similarly the versatile Thando Thabethe, in “Trailblazing Thabooty”, seems to be addicted to challenges.

She’s one of the reasons many of us are glued to the small screen at 8pm for Generations: The Legacy. She will be dearly missed when she leaves the soapie.

We can only take comfort in knowing that her move will create a vacancy for some other aspiring young woman out there to fill.

What an interesting issue of DRUM! I really enjoyed reading it. MAHLATSE SEREPO, EMAIL
