Women’s Month has come and gone but women must always remember their worth.

Women have a strength that can amaze men. They bear hardship and carry burdens but still hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a solution.

They go without so their family can have. They love unconditionally.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

But they have one flaw – many of them forget their worth.

A woman of integrity who knows her worth will never sell herself short.

She knows exactly what she stands for in society and plays her role with great enthusiasm. Ladies, let us walk tall and claim our rightful place in society.

We must stand up against the abuse of women and children. Together we shall win this battle. EPHENIA KUBU, EMAIL
