CUT THE CAFFEINE
If you’re trying to lose weight, caffeine is not your friend. US scientists from Cornell University believe caffeine may trigger the temptation for sweet treats. Their study found caffeine’s ability to boost alertness lowered people’s idea of sweetness, which made them want these flavours even more. Researchers also found the same degree of alertness in people whether they drank caffeinated or decaf drinks, which implies believing you’re doing something is as important as actually doing it.
