THE GOSPEL OF SNOOP
Snoop Dogg (46) has played around with many musical forms over the years, from hip hop to reggae, and last June he teased plans for a gospel album.
The rapper posted a screenshot on Instagram of a conversation with his mother, Beverly Tate, eager to “spread the word” thanks to her encouragement.
“Praise the Lord,” Beverly wrote to her son. “The more you share with others the more you will reap more benefits. I am so grateful to the Lord for you and how God is moving you in the direction to bless His people through the word of God.”
Snoop later previewed a few tracks from the album, now titled Snoop Dogg Presents the Bible of Love.
It doesn’t have an official release date yet but is expected to drop later this year.
