In­come-gen­er­at­ing work­shops for the un­em­ployed

ZIKULISE Com­mu­nity Uplift­ment Project NPC is hold­ing a va­ri­ety of in­come-gen­er­at­ing skills cour­ses, open to all un­em­ployed who wish to gain new skills.

Cour­ses of­fered in­clude tra­di­tional Zulu bead and grass weav­ing, ce­ram­ics (pot­tery), tex­tile devel­op­ment in­clud­ing em­broi­dery and weav­ing on a loom, and cro­chet­ting. All cour­ses in­clude busi­ness man­age­ment skills train­ing.

Those in­ter­ested in ap­ply­ing for one of the cour­ses must do so by this Fri­day at the Zikulise Com­mu­nity Uplift­ment Project NPC, at the SMME One-Stop Shop (for­merly the Arts and Crafts Cen­tre) in Em­pan­geni.

The only cost to ap­pli­cants is the R100 reg­is­tra­tion fee.
