Lec­ture on how to han­dle meet­ing a snake

WITH the ar­rival of the warmer weather, snakes are in­creas­ingly cross­ing paths with hu­mans.

Richards Bay res­i­dents, who may or may not fear or un­der­stand these crea­tures, are in­vited to at­tend a lec­ture where they will learn how to deal with them.

It takes place at 2pm on Thurs­day at the Pres­by­te­rian Church Hall, cor­ner of Essen­wood Way and Geel­houtkruin.

An ex­pert will give the talk, which has been ar­ranged by U3A (Univer­sity of the Third Age) , an international or­gan­i­sa­tion open to all who wish to broaden their in­ter­ests and in­crease their gen­eral knowl­edge.
