MELOMED Private Hospital heeded the call of this year’s Casual Day theme to ‘Be an Everyday Hero with Persons with Disabilities’.

Representatives of the hospital visited Thuthukani Special School last Friday to hand over funds raised among staff and patients during a market day held at the hospital on Casual Day.

‘Various Melomed Richards Bay departments sold a variety of goodies and staff, as well as visitors to the hospital, partook and helped raise funds,’ says PRO Palesa Nzuza.

‘Altogether, the Melomed management team donated R5 000 in proceeds to the Thuthukani Special School, an undoubtedly worthy organisation.’
