TOO HEAVY ON THE SEASONING? HERE’S WHAT TO DO
• If your food is too salty, add something acidic such as vinegar, citrus juice or canned, unsalted tomatoes. Sweetening also helps: add sugar, honey or maple syrup. • If too sweet, add an acid such as vinegar or citrus juice, or chopped fresh herbs, a dash of cayenne pepper or a splash of liqueur. • If your food is too spicy or acidic, add buttercream, sour cream or cheese. Also try olive oil or something sweet like sugar, honey or maple syrup.
