What would you be doing if you weren’t involved in this business? I'm first and foremost a marketer. If I weren’t marketing nutrition, it would be something else. What drives you? The desire to succeed. To do something that’s more than the ordinary. I could be earning much more working for a corporate salary, but my passion lies elsewhere. What car do you drive? An Audi. Where do you live? Melville, where I recently became another crime statistic after my office was cleared out. Where do you go on holiday? Cape Town or overseas, when possible, to do something specific like watch a football game at Old Trafford – not to go and see statues. What other business ventures have you pursued or are you pursuing? I’ve kept my web design and branding company going throughout the build-up of Health Robot, and I’ve also set up a company targeting SA’s pink rand. I’ve sold everything (even timeshare in Mexico) and have run nightclubs and restaurants in Johannesburg and Cape Town. What’s the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Check my e-mail. My office is next to my home, so it’s also the first thing I do when I’m at work.
