WHICH AGENCY stands out for its su­perla­tive per­for­mance dur­ing 2006? The AdRe­view Agency of the Year, spon­sored by M-Net and Or­a­cle, its air­time sales arm, will be an­nounced on 19 April at a gala in­vi­ta­tion-only ban­quet in Jo­han­nes­burg.

The choice is based on the best com­bi­na­tion of busi­ness and pro­fes­sional ex­cel­lence. This means we take into ac­count the fol­low­ing: growth of the busi­ness in fi­nan­cial terms; new busi­ness won; man­age­ment in­no­va­tion and de­vel­op­men­tal ini­tia­tives; abil­ity to cre­ate like­able and no­tice­able ad­ver­tis­ing; and per­for­mance in a range of creative and ef­fec­tive­ness awards, in­clud­ing Lo­eries, Apex, As­segais, Pen­dor­ings and in­ter­na­tional fes­ti­vals.

A num­ber of other awards will be pre­sented, in­clud­ing ad­ver­tis­ing per­son, de­sign agency and mar­ket­ing ser­vices com­pany.

The win­ning ci­ta­tions and case stud­ies will be pub­lished in Tony Koen­der­man’s AdRe­view, the au­thor­i­ta­tive an­nual guide to mar­ket­ing in SA. AdRe­view will be avail­able free with Fin­week in the is­sue dated 26 April. It’s the best way for ad agen­cies and other mar­ket­ing sup­pli­ers to reach the busi­ness com­mu­nity.
