THE BIG IDEA IS AN award for the best marketing or advertising idea converted into a multi-faceted, multichannel programme.
Sponsored by Paarl Web, it’ll be presented at the AdReview Awards at an exclusive invitation-only dinner on 19 April, when the latest edition of Tony Koenderman’s AdReview will be launched.
Last year’s winner was a campaign by TBWA called “The Power of X”, with the purpose of persuading people to vote. It effectively used events, media advertising, ambient advertising ideas, public relations and internal corporate communications to bring in more than a million new voter registrations.
The winning citations and case studies of all the awards will be published in AdReview, the authoritative annual guide to marketing in SA. AdReview will be available free with Finweek in the issue dated 26 April. It’s the best way for ad agencies and other marketing suppliers to reach the business community. ¤
