THE PRIME MINISTER
THABO MOKGATLHA, CE of the Bafokeng “public service” – the Royal Bafokeng Administration – is a chartered accountant. A former lecturer at the University of the North West (where he graduated), Mokgatlha’s position is central to the nation’s development ambitions.
The RBA is tasked with executing the development strategy of the Bafokeng.
Also titled “Head of RBN Treasury”, Mokgatlha represents the nation in many of its business interests. He became a director of Implats at age 28. A founder-member of auditing firm Mokua & Associates, he’s past CEO of Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace and former finance director of Royal Bafokeng Resources.
