FIVE AGEN­CIES shared the spoils at the Ad of the Month awards for Fe­bru­ary: BBDO Cape Town, for Good Hope fm in the news­pa­per cat­e­gory; Grey World­wide, for 3M in the mag­a­zine cat­e­gory; TBWA Hunt Las­caris in the out­door cat­e­gory, for Sa­sol; Lowe Bull, for Sun­light wash­ing pow­der in TV/cin­ema; and Net#work BBDO in ra­dio, for SABC Cricket World Cup.

POR­TA­BLE DIG­ITS TAKE OFF

CELL C HAS CHANGED the creative ex­e­cu­tion on its OR Tambo In­ter­na­tional Air­port sites, fo­cus­ing on the re­cent ad­vent of num­ber porta­bil­ity and its now well-known “lit­tle peo­ple”.

The ads, by Net#work BBDO, tar­get high­in­come pas­sen­gers on do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional flights with 6 400sq m of vis­i­ble dis­play.

Af­ter own­ing the de­par­ture cor­ri­dors at OR Tambo for two years, Cell C has re­newed its con­tract un­til 2011.

PROX­IM­ITY#TTP creative di­rec­tor Stu­art Sto­bbs is a mem­ber of the Cannes Li­ons Di­rect jury this year. The Cannes fes­ti­val takes place in June.
