SPURRED ON TO TRI­UMPH A TELEVISION cam­paign for Spur – in­spired by mys­ti­cal sto­ries like Harry Pot­ter and Lord of the Rings – de­picts a band of young­sters on a quest to re­trieve a sa­cred crys­tal. On the way they have a num­ber of ad­ven­tures in fan­tas­tic land­scapes. The ad was cre­ated by Young & Ru­bi­cam and Mars Pro­duc­tions. LO­ERIE AP­POINTED H-FAC­TOR EVENT­ING AGENCY H-Fac­tor has again been ap­pointed to pro­duce the awards cer­e­monies at the Lo­erie Awards, the pre­mier an­nual event of SA’s ad­ver­tis­ing in­dus­try. McCARTHY AP­POINTS MOR­RISJONES JO­HAN­NES­BURG agency Mor­risJones has been ap­pointed to han­dle ad­ver­tis­ing for the McCarthy deal­er­ship ac­count, which in­cludes McCarthy Call-a-Car and the com­pany’s ve­hi­cle im­port di­vi­sion. The ac­count has a bud­get of around R10m. It’s Mor­risJones’s third ac­count gain this year.
