THE AD IN­DUS­TRY is agog wait­ing for the AdRe­view Agency of the Year an­nounce­ment at an in­vi­ta­tion-only ban­quet on 19 April. Though some de­ci­sions may look like fore­gone con­clu­sions, there will be sev­eral sur­prises among the 16 awards to be made – rang­ing from New­comer of the Year to Ad­ver­tis­ing Per­son­al­ity of the year.

Spon­sors of the ma­jor awards are: Or­a­cle/M-Net (Agency of the Year), Ads24 (Me­dia Agency of the Year) and Paarl Web (The Big Idea).

The re­sults will be pub­lished in Tony Koen­der­man’s AdRe­view dis­trib­uted with the is­sue of Fin­week dated 26 April.
