ON YOUR MARKS TWO OF EUROPE’S top dig­i­tal ad­ver­tis­ing prac­ti­tion­ers will be judges at the first Book­mark awards for on­line ad­ver­tis­ing, pre­sented by the On­line Pub­lish­ing As­so­ci­a­tion. Dick Buschman (left) is founder of Ach­tung! of Hol­land, this year voted Euro­pean In­ter­ac­tive Agency of the Year. He will also be speak­ing at Tony Koenderman’s Ad Brain­storm on 12 Novem­ber, a con­fer­ence on the theme “Winning ways”.

The other judge is Jo­han Tesch, the mul­ti­ple award-winning creative di­rec­tor of BBD Lon­don. He first rose to promi­nence in Swe­den, his home­land, where he and his brother set up what’s still re­garded as one of the re­gion’s best dig­i­tal agen­cies.

Mak­ing the an­nounce­ment, CEO Glen Lo­mas said O’Han­lon’s tire­less pur­suit of agency and client ob­jec­tives – and his pas­sion for great work – were never truly recog­nised in his for­mer ti­tle of strate­gic di­rec­tor.
