FNB’s idea of service
I WONDER IF anyone has noticed the latest “service offering” by First National Bank, which is also applied to Discovery credit cards. On the day AFTER your credit card payment is due, the bank sends you an SMS to remind you that the payment is due. How annoying is that?
FNB makes sure it gets maximum interest and penalties and then sends the reminder – it arrives at 8am the following day. Hardly a service with clients’ needs in mind, but certainly a typical, selfish money grabbing approach by FNB. Thought it may be worth a mention.
