THIS LOOKS LIKE an AltX survivor. With fellow small cap listings seeing earnings and share prices plunge, TeleMasters recently reported earnings per share for the first quarter of its financial year (to endDecember 2008) up by 154%. That was on revenue growth of 38% – admittedly helped by acquisitions but nonetheless a credible performance in this ailing sector.
Remarkably for an AltX listing, the company also pays a dividend – declared quarterly. Latest is 4c/share, a 33,3% increase on the 3c/share/quarter it paid in the previous financial year. For the year its share price is only down 1,7%. That must be one of the best small cap share price performances.
