THIS LOOKS LIKE an AltX sur­vivor. With fel­low small cap list­ings see­ing earn­ings and share prices plunge, TeleMasters re­cently re­ported earn­ings per share for the first quar­ter of its fi­nan­cial year (to endDe­cem­ber 2008) up by 154%. That was on rev­enue growth of 38% – ad­mit­tedly helped by ac­qui­si­tions but none­the­less a cred­i­ble per­for­mance in this ail­ing sec­tor.

Re­mark­ably for an AltX list­ing, the com­pany also pays a div­i­dend – de­clared quar­terly. Lat­est is 4c/share, a 33,3% in­crease on the 3c/share/quar­ter it paid in the pre­vi­ous fi­nan­cial year. For the year its share price is only down 1,7%. That must be one of the best small cap share price per­for­mances.

TeleMasters is in the rather vague­sound­ing de­vel­op­ment of busi­ness com­mu­ni­ca­tion strate­gies. But, es­sen­tially, it
