While many of us yearn for a garage full of high-end horse power, it’s sim­ply out of reach for the ma­jor­ity of us mere mor­tals. Pierre Bas­son from the newly formed su­per­car club A1GT has been look­ing for a way around this and has made it his mis­sion to make “su­per­cars and ex­otics avail­able to a wider au­di­ence”. Bas­son’s so­lu­tion has come in the form of A1GT... “the f irst su­per­car club in the world to have pi­o­neered the frac­tional own­er­ship con­cept for the su­per­car in­dus­try”. Launched ear­lier this year, Bas­son be­lieves that this model pro­vides a fi­nan­cially as­tute and ex­cit­ing way of own­ing a su­per­car. The com­pany of­fers clients their very own fan­tasy garage – three or more cars for the price of one, de­pend­ing on each client’s bud­get. “Frac­tional own­er­ship is for life – you own it un­til you de­cide to sell your share,” Bas­son ex­plains.

“In sim­ple terms, from three to 10 clients can buy into a frac­tional scheme and own the ve­hi­cle among them.” Each client then has a pro rata amount of us­age
