Absa In­vest­ments rec­om­mends this prop­erty counter as one for in­vestors to con­sider for the fu­ture, point­ing out that its mar­ket cap­i­tal­i­sa­tion in ex­cess of R17bn makes it the third big­gest prop­erty counter on the JSE. One of the key fac­tors iden­ti­fied by Absa is that Cap­i­tal Prop­erty Fund gives in­vestors ac­cess to in­dus­trial prop­er­ties in South Africa and the rest of the world. The group also trades on a for­ward div­i­dend yield of 7%. Port­fo­lio man­ager Gary Smith says: “Cap­i­tal rep­re­sents a high-yield­ing prop­erty in­vest­ment with at­trac­tive distri­bu­tion growth and a longterm vi­sion. Its cur­rent price (1090c) is not con­sid­ered ex­pen­sive and we con­tinue to add the counter to our var­i­ous port­fo­lios.”
