1 477 Lek­ganyane is the spir­i­tual leader of Mzansi’s big­gest Chris­tian de­nom­i­na­tion, the Zion Chris­tian Church. The church claims to have 6m fol­low­ers in more than 4 000 parishes. The church’s head­quar­ters are at Zion City Mo­ria in Lim­popo Province and the two con­gre­ga­tions that com­pose the church are led by Barn­abas Lek­ganyane and Saint En­ge­nas Lek­ganyane, the grand­sons of its founder. 2. 3m The In­ter­na­tional Pen­te­costal Church was founded in Mead­ow­lands, Soweto, in 1962 by Fred­er­ick Modise, who died in 1998. Clay­ton’s brother-in-law, Bobo Bethuel Modise, has formed a splin­ter group called the In­ter­na­tional Pen­te­costal Ho­li­ness Church and in 2010 the two ap­peared in court af­ter a hit­man was of­fered R3m to as­sas­si­nate Clay­ton. 3.
