In a gen­er­ous ges­ture that few oth­ers would have made, Gavin Levin­sohn and his wife are em­i­grat­ing to Aus­tralia so that her chil­dren from a pre­vi­ous mar­riage can be close to their fa­ther, an Aus­tralian who is re­turn­ing to his home­land from South Africa. Levin­sohn is one of South Africa’s top ad­ver­tis­ing ex­ec­u­tives who has brought Ogilvy Cape Town to new lev­els of ex­cel­lence, to­gether with ex­ec­u­tive creative di­rec­tor Chris Gotz, since he took over as CEO.

They are hon­our­ing a prom­ise made af­ter she was di­vorced from her Aus­tralian hus­band but was awarded cus­tody of the t wo boys, aged 5 and 7. She un­der­took not to sep­a­rate the chil­dren from their fa­ther.
