• Telkom is preparing to reduce its wholesale connection fees by 8% next month as part of a settlement it reached with the Competition Commission earlier this year. The reduction is one of three with two more set for between now and 2015. The consortium, which includes Nokia and Samsung, don’t have a plan yet, but that will come later says Zuckerberg. Right now they’re getting buy-in and setting the scene. Apple and Google are conspicuously absent.
