THANK YOUR LUCKY SHOES

Finweek English Edition - - FEEDBACK -

The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) conveys its compliments and is grateful for your esteemed attention on this correspondence.

The NEF wishes to place on record its deepest gratitude and appreciation for Finweek ’s reputable and informative coverage of business and transformation in general, and also in respect of the loan granted to Ndalo Luxury Ventures (Pty) Ltd, a transaction that was recently found, by both the dti and the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Trade & Industry, to have been within the mandate and policies of the NEF

We regret to advise, however, that the assertion made by Dr Gavin Symanowitz that “Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa’s wife bought a pair of LK Bennett shoes and matching bag for more than R10 000”, is patently incorrect and completely untrue. As a matter of fact, Ms Philisiwe Mthethwa, CEO of the NEF, has not bought any item whatsoever from Luminance.

We request for Finweek to please correct this error and to expunge it from the public domain.

Please be assured of the NEF’s highest regard and respect for Finweek ’s renown as a veritable authority on entrepreneurship
