relatively new race, but the organisers are credited with doing a great job – contenders usually comment about the friendliness of staff and great food. It’s all single track, with spectacular views throughout the race. It’s also not crowded, according to Leask. Day one covers a total of 75km, with day two and three covering distances of 78km and 55km respectively. As the event’s name sug- gests, cyclists find themselves racing between three mountains on an endless single track through rocky terrain.

This race takes place in the beginning of October and proves quite popular among cycling teams, so enter as early as possible. The entry fee for this particular race not only covers the entry itself, but also includes meals and tented accommodation.
