The Transnet Na­tional Ports Au­thor­ity (TNPA) plans to spend R9.65bn on in­fra­struc­ture projects, in­clud­ing the con­struc­tion of a new rig re­pair quay, at Sal­danha Bay to in­crease the port’s abil­ity to ser­vice the off­shore oil and gas in­dus­try. The TNPA has in­vited pub­lic-sec­tor par­tic­i­pa­tion in the projects, a first for the state-owned en­tity.
