The Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) plans to spend R9.65bn on infrastructure projects, including the construction of a new rig repair quay, at Saldanha Bay to increase the port’s ability to service the offshore oil and gas industry. The TNPA has invited public-sector participation in the projects, a first for the state-owned entity.
