Finweek English Edition - - IN BRIEF -

It seems we’ll have to endure endless press conferences by sports minister Fikile Mbalula to hear him deny claims of bribery related to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is alleged that the South African Football Association (Safa) in 2008 paid $10m out of its FIFA budget to Jack Warner, the head of the Caribbean Football Association. Interpol placed Warner on its most-wanted list on 3 June.
