Finweek English Edition - - IN BRIEF -

For the first time since 1992, two South African athletes – Gift Kelehe and Caroline Wöstmann – triumphed at the Comrades Marathon. This year’s up run, from Durban to Pietermaritzburg, was also memorable for other reasons: Kelehe’s victory follows on his brother Andrew’s win in 2001, while Wöstmann was the first South African woman to win the race since 1998, when Rae Bischoff won.
